Youth Alive Day 1 Wrap

We are here in Chattanooga! The trip was pretty uneventful except the bus air didn't work well at all! But we survived. It took us exactly 9 hours including a pit stop and a terrific lunch at McD's...not! Once here, we got into our dorm rooms and then got ready for dinner. After that, it was time for the evening service. The music was great with Charles Billingsly leading. Then Clayton King spoke on John 10:10. Wow, what a challenge! Listen to this...8 of our students trusted Christ! That's worth the trip!

Then we were part of a 45 minute concert with Natalie Grant! That was awesome. Finally, it was off for a midnight snack then off to bed around 12:30am. Long day!

Now it is time to get to the morning service....

Later,
Pastor Barry

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! this was by far one of the most amazing trips i have ever been on! it was challenging spiritually and it brought me closer to God. god showed me that he wants me to be in the missions field. but he also told me that it can start right now in my community. he layed a couple of people on my heart to share the gospel with. wow, what an awesome experience! the bands were awesome, the speakers were challenging, and it was great fellowship with friends and new people. i cant wait till winter extreme!
