You Hear the Recap?
This past Thursday’s Student Night was awesome! Overflo invited all students and their parents to take part in the Youth Alive Recap Night. We had over 80 in attendance. The band did great. The games were outstanding especially the 5 dads who did a little dance! But the best part of the night was hearing from 12 students and 1 adult who attended Youth Alive. Each one shared what God did in their life that week.
Congrats to the $100 Winner…
At this past Thursday’s big night, Overflo gave away a $100 voucher to Jessica Gibson for Winter Extreme 2008. All you had to do was just show up this past Thursday and your name was entered into the drawing! It was that easy.
What A Game!
This past Friday, August 1, Overflo was part of the Family Faith Night at the Jacksonville Suns baseball game and post concert with Mark Schultz as well as fireworks. There were 22 of us that went and had a great time. It was on of the best baseball games I ever saw live. The game concluded with back to back home runs in the bottom of the 9th to give the Suns the victory. Then it was fireworks and a concert by Mark Schultz. He was awesome especially only being about 200 feet from the stage.
Tubing Down the Ichetucknee
On Friday, August 15, Overflo will be heading down the Ichetucknee River for our annual tubing trip. Join with Overflo as we enjoy the final Friday before school starts! Cost is only $16.00 and includes tube rental, park admission, and transportation. You’ll need to bring $$$ for food as we will stop for lunch on the way over as well as dinner on the way back. Sign up at the welcome center on Thursday or at a weekend service! Money is due by Thursday, August 14.
Gone Green

i like the green! yeah when ur on here EVERYDAY it gets annoying to see the SAME colors all the time! :) this should rejuvinate our spirits and get us siked!! (or however u spell it)

ahh! i keep trying to reteach my self the piano... ( its not like riding a bike)

its fun... once u learn that "c" is exactly in the middle of the piano, the rest is easy... the only hard part is reading treble cleff and bass cleff at the same time
and to make it worse i fogot how to read treble
sounds like u need lessons as much as i do! :) LOL! yeah i think i may start lessons when school starts. bro barry- i dont think i can go down the itchetucknee because my dad will be in town that week.

it was funny...
my little brother jordan was trying to play enter sandman...
and i told him he wasn't oplayin it right so i tried to help him... but i didnt know it either...
and then out of no where i started playing it! i can only play the first part
wowsa! :) i am hanging out today! ate breakfast, listened to my ipod, went on the blog, took a shower, started watching the cheetah girls 2 on disney, and now im back!

I'm stoked about y'all helping at PKU! I know Mrs. Robin greatly appreciates your help! One thing to remind your Overflo friends is, please work hard with the kids and not with your friends. It is not a time to socialize and hang out. Bascially, ignore your friends for an hour and a half!

tubing is so much fun!! anyone that hasnt been there, should defently go. ill warn you in advanced the water is a little cold. hehe:)

talking about goin out of the country.... my spanish teacher is bringin us on a educational trip to Spain!!!(itz about $1200) but itz worth it!! sooooo if anybody needs a babysitter or anything ill do anything to get this money!!! well not anything but you know what i mean!! sooooo anybody get to me before spring break cuz thatz when were going!! IM SOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS IVE NEVER BEEN TO SPAIN!
