Totally Stoked Pastor B-Arry! The message from last week and this week have been inspiring and helpful. Since last week, I've gotten through this one different but better. When you put God first and give him that attention and time, you start to hear colors and see sounds! Can't wait for Saturday and I'll see ya there. Have a good and safe Friday!

This is a poem i wrote for fields of faith. I would like to turn it into a song when i get the chance (with the help of Pastor Darek and Darren...)It's called Yahoo!

I’m here to tell you that things in life will make you say boohoo,
But Jesus is doing this to bring Him closer to you.
With Him all things on earth can be battled through.
By the end of this song you’ll all be shouting yahoo!

One day after school I came home to see
that my step-dad would no longer be living with me.
His son came up to me tried to speak, but could only cry.
I got so angry at God that I tried to question him why.

I soon found out my girl-friend perished in a crash.
My heart was broken into two and slowly burned to ash.
We’d joke around what it’d be like if she was my wife.
After all this I looked back and WOW! I hated life.

A friend of mine invited me to a club called F.C.A.
I could feel everyone in the room thinking, “hip hip hooray!”
The way they lived so happily almost gave me joy,
But then I remembered God and yelled, “AM I JUST A TOY!”

Everything in life made me feel so low,
until I met a man who was the pastor of overflo.
He set me up with the band a date to rehearse.
Then every single thing in life took a big reverse.

The pastor had preached a sermon one day.
Almost as if there was no time to delay.
It caused me to swallow all my pride and forget all my fears.
I ran to the back of the room then burst into tears.

I tried to stop crying I did all I could,
But I couldn’t forget Him dying on the wood.
A worker at the church came and prayed with me.
He also explained why Jesus carried the tree.

He told me how Jesus came to die for our sin.
I listened closely as a tear ran down my chin.
During that night I accepted Jesus into my heart.
From that moment on I knew we would never be apart.

This is the end of the song and I bid a fair ado.
By now you all should be thinking yippee wahoo yahoo!
So if anything ever happens remember these words are true.
Jesus Christ, the son of God, came and died for you.
